Brand + social media video

During my time at Chilean-based tech+democracy organization Ciudadanía Inteligente, my content work involved editing video for social media platforms. Here are a couple samples:

At the Washington Office on Latin America, my video work has either been based on program-specific strategy, for larger campaigns, or donor-targeted content.

This animated video was a product for our annual gala and awards ceremony. 2021 was the second year this event took place virtually, so we decided to produce a more engaging and celebratory-style video honoring our Afro and Indigenous partners in Colombia. As the producer, I spent time looking for a design/animation studio based in Colombia for a more authentic approach to tone. The video was animated by Oro Taller, an Afro-Colombian woman-led social impact design studio in Bogotá.

Rebuilding Peace in Colombia is a podcast that formed part of WOLA’s campaign Con Líderes Hay Paz (with leaders there is peace), which centers the voices of four Afro and Indigenous social leaders leading peace building efforts in Colombia. The show was produced by LWC Studios (formerly Lantigua-Williams & Co.). My role was mainly in coordinating and conducting Spanish interviews, as well as coordinating host recordings and sourcing ancillary production materials, ensuring timely handoff to the production company.

About Me was a podcast co-created and co-hosted by my colleague Kevin Ackermann and myself, focused on the nuanced ways in which our identity formation and our use of technology intersect. The episodes consisted of conversation and interviews on topics from content moderation and radicalization to dating profiles and DIY lifestyles. About Me was produced as part of an overall creative strategy for the student-run academic journal/blog GNOVIS, where I served as editor-in-chief.
