CREATIVE VIDEO PRODUCER

  • Produced video content including: sexual and reproductive healthcare education, branded campaigns, episodic content, rapid response content, nationwide live activation coverage, electoral content, etc. Samples include: End Stigma and Fast Facts.

  • Led brand video projects in collaboration with internal PPFA stakeholders (creative, social, education, advocacy, legal) as well as with PPFA partner vendors/contractors.

  • Identified/onboarded new strategic partners including agencies, talent, production partners, etc. 

  • Ideated, researched, and pitched new video content ideas aligned with brand goals to engage both existing and new supporters, with a focus on bilingual (English/Spanish) content for intersecting Latin American diaspora communities in the U.S.

WASHINGTON OFFICE ON LATIN AMERICA

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR FOR CONTENT PRODUCTION

  • Collaborated with the Director for Digital Strategy and key stakeholders to revitalize and expand digital advocacy efforts for campaigns, content calendars, and rapid response communications.

  • Achieved nearly 600% increase in organic following on Instagram by producing engaging bilingual audiovisual content for distribution on website and social media channels. 

  • Identified brand-appropriate opportunities for content production, partnerships, and digital strategies, including an editorial/video partnership with actor/activist Kendrick Sampson.

  • Turned high level strategy into detailed project benchmarks for creative/technical contractors (i.e. print/web/digital designers, video editors, web developers).

2015 — 2019

PRODUCER

  • Promoted from producer to supervising producer for National Geographic documentary mini-series on the diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Cuba, La Cuba de Hoy (2016).

  • Supervised production crew of 40+, both on-location in the U.S. and in Cuba.

  • Involved in research & development stage as well as pre- through post-production, including on location scouting, talent sourcing, budgeting, contracts, etc. 

  • Wrote, packaged, and pitched entertaining branded series ideas in both English and Spanish (including sizzle reels, teasers, treatments, etc.).
