Film Independent

I was first introduced to the organization Film Independent through a social media internship in 2015, but would later return for the next three years as a freelance writer for their blog. This involved both coverage of Film Independent’s LA Film Festival and year-round events, as well as a column I pitched and wrote titled “Old v. New”. The column compared older classic films with thematically or visually similar newer independent releases.
